Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will host its annual techno‑management festival, Kshitij 2026, from January 16 to 18, 2026. The 23rd edition of the festival will feature over 40 events, including technical and management competitions, workshops, interactive sessions, guest lectures, and exhibitions, creating a vibrant platform for students across India to explore cutting‑edge technology, innovation, and management practices.
The grand inauguration is scheduled for January 16, kick‑starting three days of intense learning and engagement. Major attractions include exhibitions by leading institutions such as the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Air Force, showcasing defence and aerospace technologies. The festival will also feature a Canadian Drone Light Show, an Auto Expo, a DJ Night, and several entertainment events, blending technology with creativity and fun.
Over the years, Kshitij has hosted distinguished personalities such as Dr A. Velumani, founder of Thyrocare, and Sabeer Bhatia, founder of Hotmail, along with speakers like Dr Tanu Jain, a motivational speaker and former civil servant, and Vijendra Singh Chauhan, a renowned educator and mentor. Their talks have inspired thousands of students, emphasizing innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
