Curriculum Highlights

Participants engage in intensive modules covering mission-driven leadership, personal effectiveness, and human capital strategies. Cutting-edge sessions tackle digital transformation, artificial intelligence applications, climate action imperatives, and evolving geopolitical landscapes. A dedicated track explores deepening India-Vietnam strategic partnerships, aligning leadership training with bilateral priorities.

Cultural Diplomacy Integration

Beyond boardrooms, the delegation experiences India’s philosophical heritage through visits to the UNESCO-listed Mahabodhi Temple. It’s the Buddha’s enlightenment site. The delegation also visited Nalanda’s ancient ruins. These immersions contextualize leadership wisdom drawn from millennia-old traditions, bridging Eastern philosophies with modern management challenges.

Strategic Significance

This ITEC programme underscores India’s soft power projection through capacity-building. By hosting Vietnam’s future policymakers, IIM Bodh Gaya strengthens institutional ties while addressing shared concerns like supply chain fragility, technological disruption, and regional security. The BANI framework offers participants tools to lead through uncertainty rather than merely react to it. It was coined by futurist Jamais Cascio.

Organizers highlight the initiative’s dual impact: equipping Vietnamese leaders with actionable frameworks while fostering people-to-people connections that complement high-level diplomacy. As India-Vietnam relations deepen amid Indo-Pacific realignments, such programmes position IIM Bodh Gaya as a global leadership hub rooted in Bodh Gaya’s enlightenment legacy.

The five-day intensive concludes with actionable takeaways blending ancient wisdom, contemporary strategy, and cross-cultural insights – arming delegates to navigate their own BANI landscapes back home with clarity and resolve.
