The opening ceremony was graced by Prof Jabir Ali, Dean (Faculty and Research), IIM Jammu, who highlighted that education goes beyond classrooms. Instead, it is designed to strengthen individual leadership, sharpen participants’ thinking, and trigger meaningful personal and professional transformation. He underscored the importance of helping educators move from being managers of classrooms to becoming influencers and change‑makers within their institutions.

Prof Nitin Upadhyay, Dean (Academics) and Program Director, outlined the program’s structure, which will cover core themes such as the nature of leadership, generational and team dynamics, institutional culture, and the evolving financial landscape of higher education. The curriculum uses a blend of lectures, interactive workshops, group discussions, case studies, role‑plays, and practical exercises, enabling participants to actively apply concepts to real‑world challenges they face in their institutions.

Dr Ramswarup Bhaskar, Program Director and faculty member at IIM Jammu, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the participants, faculty, and the Ministry of Education for their continued support.
